Dear Voters,
Welcome and thank you for visiting my campaign website for Clark County District Court Judge, Department 28.
With your votes—and the help of the many organizations and individuals who endorsed me—I won the required amount of votes and the right to continue on to the November 2nd General Election.
Department 28 was created by the Nevada State Legislature last year to better manage the 90,000 court cases judged each year in Clark County District Court. The upcoming election in November is the first election to choose a judge for Department 28.
I believe Clark County residents deserve their day in court and should be treated with respect and fairness by an experienced and knowledgeable judge. I think my record, qualifications, and proven commitment to Southern Nevada make me the best choice. That’s why I’m running for District Court Judge and asking for your support.
I’ve practiced law in Clark County for over 35 years. I’ve been a Special Prosecutor for the City of Las Vegas, a partner in a major law firm and owner of my own law firm. I’ve arbitrated hundreds of civil lawsuits and have years of service as a Judge Pro Temi. I have the judicial and administrative experience to best manage our courts and ensure fairness in our legal proceedings.
Paired with my legal experience is my deep, proven commitment to make Clark County a better place to live. This is where I started my family, raised my three children and two foster children, coached my kids’ soccer, tee-ball, and floor hockey games. I’ve served on legal and civic boards, organized assistance for children in need of adoption, and donated my time to a broad range of activities including UNLV students, my church, and those in need of free legal help.
Even though I believe I am fully qualified, I can’t win this race alone. I welcome your help, your advice, and your support.
